NewZealand Starting five: Lindsay TAIT, Micheal Fitchett, Klrk PENNEY, Thomas ABERCROMBIE and Craig BRADSHAW. Lebanon Starting five: Jackson VROMEN, Rony FAHED, Elie Roustom, Matt FREIJE and Fadi EL KHATIB. ‎Newzealand started the first quarter correctly by making a tough defense and playing the right system on offense and they made a 10 points difference in the first five minutes

Lebanon Falls Again - World Championships - Aug.31, 2010
After loosing the first two games in the FIBA World Championships, New Zealand grabbed their first win in the competition facing Lebanon who didn't show much of a resistance to absorb the scoring hunger of the New Zealanders who had a strong start in the first quarter creating a 16 points margin at its end. Lebanon was hopeless defensively, conceding 14 points from second chances. New Zealand took advantage of the offensive rebounds to finish the first stanza 32-16
