Fiji claim 6th at FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2017 - Fiji - 2 days ago
Team Fiji has rounded out their Bengaluru campaign by taking home 6th place in the tournament. With this being the first ever time competition in the event it is a great result which can be built upon for the future. Singapore pushed out to an early lead and Fiji did everything they could to fight back but eventually fell 65-80. This is an amazing improvement from their first matchup against Singapore, creating a 27-point turnaround from their first game

News that Chevannah Paalvast(180-G/F-91, college: Monmouth) has signed a one-year deal with the University of Canberra Capitals takes the number of New Zealand internationals that will play in the 2017-18 Australian WNBL season to five. PINKK-Pecsi 424 (A Division) landed 25-year old American center Shelby Cheslek (196-92, college: Gonzaga). It is actually her comeback to PINKK Pecsi as she has played here before.
