McKinnon's Simo Pajdic takes on Big V's Big 11 questions!

NAME: Simo Pajdic

CLUB: McKinnon Cougars

JUNIOR REP CLUB: Dandenong and Keysborough

BIG V BIG 11

1) What is the most memorable thing a coach has ever said to you?

SP: I once had a coach who told me to do pushups during a game because I didn't take an open jump shot.

2) What is your aim for the 2K11 season, both individually and your team?

SP: As a team our goal is to win the Championship. With the right mix of players and Brady Walmsley and Adam Taylor pushing us hard a championship would be perfect reward. Individually I just want to help my team in anyway possible.

3) What is the best trash talk you have ever heard on a basketball court?

SP: I overheard a player say to a teammate of mine that his beard was ugly to which my teammate responded 'Your Mum seems to like it, So must not be too bad'.

4) If you win $10 million what would you buy?

SP: Definitely a car house and boat

5) One word used to describe yourself?

SP: Driven

6) If you could trade places with anyone for a week, who would it be and why?

SP: I would have to say Manu Ginobili without a doubt. Just so I witness how it feels to shoot more than 23% from the field!!!

7) If someone wrote a book about you, what would it be called and why?

SP: unsure

8) Favourite song in warm-up?

SP: At McKinnon we have the 'Whiz' playing the tunes and they go off!!! but rescue me by You Me at Six is hard to go past.

9) People say you look like....

SP: Brad Pitt sometimes, but normally Tim Duncan!

10) What superpower would you like to have and why?

SP: Definitely invisability - the possibilities are endless!!!

11) Big V TV is hosted by Yapper, Sweet Cal and Ads- if you were a host what would you be called?

SP: I think they do a great job on the show everyweek, so I will leave the media to the professionals and Cal!!!

State Leagues Round-Up - 19 hours ago
The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Buccaneers as it allowed them to take a leadership position in League. Buccaneers smashed 8th ranked Lightning in Wonthella 101-75. Buccaneers forced 19 Lightning turnovers. Strangely Lightning outrebounded Buccaneers 4...   [read more]
