WNBL Forward of the Year Belinda Snell signs deal in Poland - May 25, 2012

Snell
Belinda Snell (181-F-81) will continue her career in Poland. The WNBL Forward of the Year penned a 1-year deal with CCC Polkowice. The club reached PLKK Finals last season. Snell was a member of the Sydney Uni Flames in the latest edition of WNBL. She appeared 22 times in the league averaging 19.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.8 steals. Snell ended as third best scorer of the competition and fourth in assists. Before Sydney Uni Flames, Belinda Snell spent one season with Perfumerias. She paced them to Euroleague and Spanish league titles last year. In the past, Snell played for Ros Casares, Dynamo Moscow and Bourges. She won the Spanish and French championships with Ros Casares and Bourges. In 2007, Snell won the WNBA title with the Phoenix Mercury.

The Jayco Australian Opals have begun a busy tour of Europe in style with a comfortable victory over Argentina. Leading by ten points at the first break, Australia proved they were the dominant team with a 25-7 second term blitz before they ran out 90-48 winners. Corrigan comes back to Panthers - May 29, 2016

South Adelaide Panthers (Premier League) inked 23-year old Australian center Tayla Corrigan (190-93). It is actually her comeback to Panthers as she played here before. Corrigan just graduated from Idaho (NCAA). But in 6 games she recorded only 1.7ppg this season. The last season she played also at the University of Idaho in Big Sky Conference in the NCAA.
