Montgomery re-signs at Logan Thunder - Dec 13, 2012

Logan Thunder (WNBL) confirmed in their roster 25-year old American power forward Corinna Montgomery (188-87, college: Nebraska). She played there last season. In 21 WNBL games last year she recorded 7.4ppg and 3.4rpg.
The previous (10-11) season Montgomery played at Real Canoe in Spanish LF2. In 29 games that season she averaged 9.8ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.1apg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
Two years ago Montgomery was drafted by New York Liberty (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
She attended University of Nebraska until 2010 and it will be her third season in pro basketball. Montgomery was voted Big 12 All-Academic 1st Team in 2010 at her college time.

An interesting game for Dandenong Rangers (9-3) which played road game in Bendigo against second-best Bendigo Spirit (8-5). First ranked Dandenong Rangers managed to get a 8-point victory 77-69. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-69. Melbourne Boomers (WNBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Canadian forward Kalisha Keane (185-89, college: Michigan State). She played most recently at TED Ankara in Turkish TKBL. In 21 games she recorded very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.6apg and 2.4spg last season.
