Brock Motum
Anadolu Efes Istanbul (BSL) inked 27-year old Australian international power forward Brock Motum (208-111kg-90, college: Washington State). He has played for the last two years at Zalgiris in Lithuanian LKL league. In 47 games he averaged 9.8ppg and 2.6rpg last season. Motum helped them to win the league title (twice) and the cup (also twice). Motum also played 30 games in Euroleague where he had 10.8ppg and 3.4rpg.
Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com Lithuanian LKL All-Imports Team award in 2016.
Motum has been also a member of Australian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Australian senior team since 2009 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2009.
Motum represented Australia at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) last year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 4 games: 5.0ppg, 2.0rpg.
Motum has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Motum has played previously professionally in Italy (Virtus Bologna), NBA (Utah Jazz) and Australia (Adelaide 36ers and Australian Institute Sport).
He attended Washington State until 2013 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
Motum's game is described as: A not so athletic PF with great offensive skills. He's an opportunistic scorer, who can shoot the three. He anticipates well and knows how to get into position to score. Also, Brock is still learning a lot and will continue to improve.
