Chante Black
Mersin Universitesi (TKBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American center Chante Black (195-85kg-85, college: Duke). She plays in the summer at Bendigo Lady Braves in Australian SEABL-South. In two games she recorded very impressive stats: 23.5ppg and 9.0rpg.
In 2009 Black was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in first round (10th overall).
The former Duke University standoutis in her eighth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Black's team made it to the Italian A1 Semifinals in 2014. She received also Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Honorable Mention award back in 2012.
Black is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in Israel (Ramat Hasharon), WNBA (Dallas Wings and San Antonio Silver Stars), Italy (Umbertide), China (Shandong) and Turkey (Adana ASKI Mersin and Samsun).
The scouts decsribe her following way: a tremendous rebounder and shot-blocker.

KFUM Ostersund Basket (BasketEttan) added to their roster 24-year old American guard Ta'Rea Cunnigan (175-93, college: San Jose State). She played last summer at Knox Raiders in Australian Big V. In 22 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.9apg and 1.9spg. Cunnigan helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Former international Center Elizabeth Cambage (203-C-91) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Bulleen B., receiving a Australiabasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
