Sydney Uni Flames (WNBL) confirmed in their roster 19-year old guard Tahlia Tupaea (174-97). She played there last season. In 23 WNBL games she had 13.4ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.5apg and 1.3spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was named to Australiabasket.com All-Australian WNBL Honorable Mention. Tupaea's team made it to the WNBL Semifinals in 2015.
She represented Australia at the World Championships U19 in Chekhov (Russia) last year. Tupaea's team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 7 games: 8.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.4apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 28.6%, 3PT: 31.6%, FT: 88.2%.
Tupaea has played previously for another Australian team Panthers.
