Adelaide Link Lightning (WNBL) tabbed 26-year old Shannon Mckay (90). She played in the summer at North Adelaide Rockets (Premier League). Mckay has played there for the last five years. In 22 Premier League games she averaged 15.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg.
She played in the final of Australian Premier League in 2015.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Boomers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Boomers smashed 8th ranked Canberra Capitals in Melbourne 96-66. They outrebounded Canberra Capitals 45-30 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Boomers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
