Kickert
Naturalized Dutch Daniel Kickert (208-C/F-83) had an amazing evening in the last round for Bullets, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 33-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush United (#5, 11-12) with 17-point margin 88-71. Bullets maintains the 8th position in Australian NBL. Bullets is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-14 record. In the team's last game Kickert had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bullets' top player in his first season with the team. Daniel Kickert averages this season 13.4ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old American Jerome Randle (175-PG-87) of league's leader 36ers. Randle had a very good evening with 22 points and 3 assists. Of course he led 36ers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Bullets (#8, 10-14) 101-68. Of course 36ers still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 17-7 record. Randle is a newcomer at 36ers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#4). He also recorded 5.3 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Bullets' star - American forward Torrey Craig (198-F-90). Craig scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of Bullets, helping his team with a 88-71 easy win against the higher-ranked United (#5, 11-12). The chances of Bullets ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Craig could help Bullets to bring them higher in the standings. Craig has a great season in Australia. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.0rpg (#1 in league).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Angus Brandt (208-C-89) of Wildcats - 17 points and 11 rebounds
5. Nick Kay (206-C/F-92) of Hawks - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Daniel Kickert (208-C/F-83) of Bullets - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Andrew James Ogilvy (211-C-88) of Hawks - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Kevin Dillard (183-PG-89) of Breakers - 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists
9. Casper Ware (178-PG-90) of United - 27 points and 4 assists
10. Kirk Penney (196-G/F-80) of Breakers - 25 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
