Seekamp
Adelaide Link Lightning (WNBL) signed 25-year old Australian international guard Nicole Seekamp (178-92, college: S.Dakota). It is actually her comeback to Adelaide Lightning as she has played here before. Seekamp already started the season at InvestInTheWest AZS AJP Gorzow Wlkp. in Polish TBLK. In 26 games she had 11.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.0apg and 1.5spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Polish Cup Semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Seekamp won WNIT championship title in 2016. She was also voted All-Summit League Player of the Year and All-Summit League 1st Team in 2014, 2015 and 2016 at her college time.
Seekamp was a member of Australian international program for some years. She was called to Australian Senior National Team back in 2009 and previously for U18 National Team in 2009.
Seekamp has played also professionally for other Australian teams like Australian Institute of Sport and Sabres.
She attended University of South Dakota until 2016 and it is her second season as a professional player.
