Ray Turner
American Ray Turner (206-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Willetton T. and that's him to receive a Australiabasket.com State League Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 26-year old forward had a double-double of 43 points and twenty four rebounds, while his team edged out Cockburn C. (#7, 5-6) 120-118. It allowed Willetton T. to jump to the first place in the Australian State League. Willetton T. have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Turner had a remarkable 62.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Willetton T., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Texas A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Turner is in league's top in points (9th best: 25.1ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.5rpg) and averages solid 64.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old American guard Eian Davis (185-G-90) of S.Adelaide P.. Davis impressed basketball fans with 40 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as S.Adelaide P. lost that game 85-97 to slightly higher-ranked W.Adelaide B. (#5, 3-3). This loss caused S.Adelaide P. to drop to 7th position in Premier League. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Davis is one of the most experienced players at S.Adelaide P. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 5.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Peter Hooley (193-G-92) of second-ranked Ballarat M.. Hooley got into 30-points club by scoring 44 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. He was a key player of Ballarat M., leading his team to a 102-92 win against the lower-ranked Albury W.B. (#5, 4-4). Ballarat M. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in SEABL. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Hooley has a very solid season. In 7 games in Australia he scored 20.7ppg. He also has 4.3apg and FGP: 54.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Alex Francis (198-F-91) of Frankston - 34 points and 9 rebounds

6. Jalen Billups (198-F-92) of Cockburn C. - 40 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
