Saint Chamond Basket Valle du Gier (ProB) tabbed 24-year old American forward Tanner McGrew (203-113kg-93, college: West Virginia Wesleyan, agency: Duran International). He plays in the summer at South West Metro Pirates in Australian QBL. In 12 games he averaged impressive 22.2ppg, 12.2rpg and 3.4apg. The last season McGrew played at SISU Copenhagen in Danish Ligaen where in 37 games he had very remarkable stats: 16.6ppg, 10.5rpg, 3.4apg and 1.2spg. He can count that season as a very successful as was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen Forward of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team. He was a member of USA Senior National Team two years ago.
McGrew graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan in 2016 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
