27-year old forward Ray Turner (206-F-90) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Willetton T. and receives a Australiabasket.com State League Player of the Week award for round 19. He had a double-double of 34 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat SW Slammers (#6, 12-8) 99-92. It allowed Willetton T. to consolidate first place in the Australian State League. Willetton T. have a solid 19-3 record. Turner has many years of experience at Willetton T., through which he has constantly improved. Texas A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Turner is in league's top in points (5th best: 26.7ppg), rebounds (5th best: 12.8rpg) and averages solid 62.1% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Dee Oldham (193-G-94) of W.Adelaide B.. He is American guard in his first season at W.Adelaide B.. In the last game Oldham recorded impressive 46 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he led W.Adelaide B. to another comfortable win 88-75 over the lower-ranked C.District L. (#9, 2-13) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed W.Adelaide B. to move up to 3rd position in Premier League. His team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Oldham is one of the most experienced players at W.Adelaide B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.7ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 8.3rpg and 3.7apg.
Third place about best performers goes to forward James Padgett (203-F-91) of Lakeside L. (#10). Padgett got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for eighteen rebounds . Despite Padgett's great performance Lakeside L. lost 93-106 to the higher-ranked SW Slammers (#6, 12-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Lakeside L. not to end season at such low position in SBL, however are less than slim as they have already lost 15 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Padgett could try to bring Lakeside L.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Padgett has individually a great season in Australia. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.3rpg (7th best). He also has 1.1bpg and FGP: 51.5%.

We bring you last week's top performances from Australians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international power forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: Washington St., currently plays in Turkey). He was the major contributor in an Anadolu Efes' victory against the eighth-ranked Sakarya BSB (13-13) crushing them 100-74 in the Turkish BSL in Sunday night's game.
Motum recorded 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul (19-7) is placed third in the BSL.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Motum has relatively good stats this year: 13.6ppg, 3.9rpg, 2FGP: 59.9%(94-157), 3FGP: 43.5% and FT: 82.7% in 23 games he played so far.
He played for the Australian senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international forward Ben Simmons (208-96, college: LSU, currently plays in NBA). Simmons could not help the Philadelphia 76ers (52-30) in their last game on Monday. Despite his very good performance the Philadelphia 76ers (52-30) were defeated 113-103 on the road by the Miami Heat.
Simmons was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 9 boards, handed out 8 passes and blocked 2 shots.
Simmons has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 8.2apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 54.9% and FT: 56.9%.
Simmons played for the Australian national team in 2014.
#3. The Australian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international small forward Joe Ingles (203-87, currently plays in NBA). He led Utah Jazz to a victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (48-34) 115-102 in the NBA in Saturday night's game.
Ingles scored 21 points and added 4 assists.
The Utah Jazz has 48-34 record this season.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Ingles' fourth year with the team.
This season he has very high stats. Ingles averages: 11.5ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.7apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 50.9%, 3FGP: 44.1%.
He played for the Australian national team two years ago.
#4. An experienced swingman Ben Madgen (193-85, college: Augusta, currently plays in Lithuania) contributed to a Lietuvos rytas' victory against the closely-ranked Siauliai (14-19) 87-75 in the Lithuanian LKL last Wednesday.
Madgen scored 16 points in a mere 19 minutes.
Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (27-6) is placed second in the LKL.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This year Madgen's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.5apg in 28 games.

#5. Former international point guard Patrick Mills (183-88, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the San Antonio Spurs (47-35) in their last game on Monday. Despite Mills' very good performance the San Antonio Spurs (47-35) were defeated 116-101 in Oakland by the Golden State Warriors.
He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Mills also added 3 passes.
Mills is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Spurs' roster.
This season he has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.8apg.

#6. Guard Mirko Djeric (193-95, currently plays in Serbia) was not able to secure a victory for Vrsac (1-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Vrsac (1-1) was badly defeated 94-74 in Beograd by the leading Dynamic BG in the Group B.
Djeric was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 32 minutes.
Djeric has reliable stats this year: 10.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.1apg in 19 games.
He is a former U22 international player as he played for the Australian team three years ago.
#7. International swingman Mitch Creek (195-92, currently plays in Germany) helped BG Goettingen win their game against the closely-ranked Giessen 46ers (15-16) 111-102 in the German BBL on Sunday night.
Creek recorded 23 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes.
BG Goettingen (6-10) is placed eighth in the BBL.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
Creek has very impressive stats this year: 17.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5apg in four games.
He is also Australian national team player.
#8. Guard Mitchell McCarron (191-92, college: Metro St., currently plays in Slovenia) helped Olimpija win their game against the third-ranked Krka (6-4) 79-71 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Saturday night's game.
McCarron recorded 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-8. Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana (8-2) is placed first.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be extremely important.
McCarron's stats this season are: 12.4ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.9apg.
He plays currently for the Australian national team.
#9. Former international center Aron Baynes (208-86, college: Washington St., currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the Boston Celtics (55-27) in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks (44-38) in the NBA.
Baynes recorded 9 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 19 minutes.
But the Boston Celtics (55-27) were edged 104-102 in Milwaukee by the Bucks.
It's Baynes' first season with the team.
This year his total stats are: 5.9ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.2apg in 85 games.

#10. Center Jordan Vandenberg (216-90, college: N.Carolina St., currently plays in Japan) couldn't help Kumamoto Vorters (37-18) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Kumamoto Vorters (#2) were defeated 82-72 in Fukuoka by the leading Rizing in the West group.
Vandenberg recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 16 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks.
Vandenberg has averaged so far 4.0ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.2bpg.
He is a former U18 international player as ten years ago he still played for the Australian national team.
#11. Former international point guard Dante Exum (198-95, currently plays in NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Joe Ingles. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention.
Exum couldn't help the Utah Jazz in their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, despite his good performance on Sunday night.
He recorded 10 points in 18 minutes.
But his team lost 108-116 in the NBA.
Exum's stats this year are: 7.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.8apg in 17 games.

Duinker had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 6 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in 32 minutes.
It was Kumamoto Vorters' fifth consecutive loss in a row.
It's Duinker's first season with the team.
Duinker has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.6ppg, 10.0rpg and 2.3apg in 54 games he played so far.
Duinker has a dual citizenship: Dutch and Australian.
#2.Thon Maker (216-F-97, currently plays in NBA) led Milwaukee Bucks to an easy victory against the Boston Celtics (55-27) crushing them 116-92 in the NBA last Friday.
Maker scored 14 points, had 5 rebounds and made 5 blocks.
The Milwaukee Bucks have 44-38 record this season.

He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 12 rebounds. Jois also added 2 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Shiga Lakestars (21-34) are placed fourth in West group.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Jois averaged so far 12.5ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg.
#5.Nathaniel Musters (208-C-93, college: Lafayette, currently plays in Holland) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Weert (4-27) crushing them 79-54 in the Dutch Eredivisie last Tuesday.
Musters scored 7 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 22 minutes.
Aris Leeuwarden (10-22) is placed sixth in the Eredivisie.
The Regular Season already ended.
Musters has averaged so far 2.3ppg and 3.0rpg in 26 games.
#6.Timothy Kearney (201-F/G-86, currently plays in Sweden) managed to help BC Lulea to win against the closely-ranked Sodertalje Kings 86-85 in the Swedish Basketligan last Sunday.
Kearney scored only 4 points.
Kearney has averaged so far 2.3ppg and 2.0rpg.
He has both Australian and Swedish nationalities.
#7. Experienced John Fitzgerald (193-G-84, college: Lindsey Wilson, currently plays in Sweden) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Trelleborg (7-18) in their last game. Despite Fitzgerald's very good performance Trelleborg lost 88-98 in Lund to the higher-ranked (#7) IK Eos.
He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. Fitzgerald also added 3 assists and 3 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in 37 minutes.
Fitzgerald has very impressive stats this year: 21.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.9apg and 2.4spg in 15 games.
#8.Michael Vigor (206-F/C-90, currently plays in United Kingdom) contributed to a 2-point Bristol Acadamy Flyers' victory against the closely-ranked Worcester Wolves 80-78 in the British BBL last Saturday.
Vigor scored only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court.
Vigor has averaged so far 8.4ppg, 6.7rpg and 3.2apg in 27 games.

In 48 games he averaged 1.6ppg and 3.2rpg this season. Onwukamuche helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Southeast Division. The former Prairie View A&M University standout is in his third season in pro basketball.
