Pallacanestro Bellinzona (LNA) landed 28-year old American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR). She played in the summer at Rockingham City Flames in Australian SBL. In 13 games she averaged impressive 25.4ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg. The last season Reed played at CS Municipal Satu Mare in Romanian Liga Nationala where in 30 games she had very remarkable stats: 17.2ppg, 8.7rpg and 4.4apg. It was a very successful season in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League 2nd Team.
In 2011 Reed was drafted by Tulsa Shock (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
The former University of Arkansas at Little Rock standoutis in her seventh season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Reed won CEWL championship title in 2014. She received also All-Sun Belt Player of the Year award back in 2011 at her college time.
Reed is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Reed has played previously professionally also in Austria (Flying Foxes), Bulgaria (Beroe), Israel (Hap.Petah Tikva and Elitzur Netanya), Lithuania (Kibirkstis), WNBA (Phoenix Mercury) and Romania (Alba Iulia).
Her game is described as: Chastity is a forward that is able to play in both positions of the Small forward and the Power forward. She is an alumni of UALR Trojans and is a player that can score from long and short distance. In her strong points her coaches add that she has very efficient post game. She is an extraordinary scorer in the low with excellent moves and good 3 point's shooter. Rebounding is also a strong advantage in her game.She was at 2011 WNBA draft 3 round (Number 25) pick.She has big experience from WNBA and Israeli League. A very coach able player with positive attitude and a great personality.
