Sydney Kings (NBL) signed 26-year old Indian international power forward Amritpal Singh (212-91). He played this summer at Pune Peshwas in Indian UBA League. In 7 games he had very impressive stats: 30.4ppg, 13.3rpg (leader !!!), 2.1apg and 2.1bpg. Singh helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Indian UBA 2nd Team.
He also represented India at the Asian Championships in Changsha-Hunan (China) two years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 10.2ppg, 6.9rpg, FGP: 41.1%, FT: 48.3%.
Singh has played also professionally for other Indian teams like ONGC Uttarakhand Dehradoon and W.Railway.

Basketball Australia recently announced a partnership agreement it signed with Australian health company, Aqualyte. The agreement entails that Aqualyte provides its range of products to the Australian National basketball team. ROBERT ANSHILA Stirling Senators (SBL) signed 31-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) swingman Robert Anshila (201-100kg-86, college: Ft.Hays State). He just played at Al Shamal in Qatari D1 league. In four games he had 3.5ppg and 1.8rpg this season.
