Reading Rockets (NBL D1) inked 23-year old Australian guard Declan Soukup (190-82kg-94, college: Assumption). He played in the summer at Dandenong Rangers in Australian SEABL-South. In 12 games he recorded 3.1ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.3apg. Soukup helped them to win the SEABL-South title.
He just graduated from Assumption College and it will be his first season in pro basketball.
Soukup has played also in Australia for Frankston Blues.

American Guard Bryce Cotton (185-G-92, agency: Pensack Sports) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Wildcats, receiving a Australiabasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9. The 25-year old player was the main contributor (36 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Hawks (#6, 5-8) 99-91.
