Justin Baker
Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (Division A) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American power forward Justin Baker (203-109kg-89, college: Utah Valley). It is actually his comeback to Nicosia as he has played here before. Baker played last summer at Townsville Heat in Australian QBL. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.7ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.5apg. He helped them to win the QBL title (twice).
Baker was selected to ABA All-Star Game back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Baker's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in eight different countries. Baker has played previously professionally in Denmark (Vaerlose), Estonia (BC Rakvere), Finland (Kauhajoki), Germany (White Wings), Israel (Beer Yaakov), Sweden (Orebro), Australia (Gladstone Port City Power and Logan Thunder) and ABA (Richmond R.).
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Baker attended Utah Valley University until 2011 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.

Sydney Kings (NBL) agreed terms with 29-year old American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-88, college: Bellarmine). He played last summer at South West Metro Pirates in Australian QBL. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 28.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.6apg and 3.4spg. Kendle also played that season for Rams in NBL where in 19 games he was fourth best scorer with remarkable 20.6ppg and averaged 5.3rpg, 5.4apg (top 5) and 1.2spg. Johnson's 32-point game gives him Player of the Week award - 6 days ago
29-year old Daniel Johnson (210-C/F-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for 36ers and receives a Australiabasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. He had the game-high 32 points adding four rebounds and two assists for 36ers in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Taipans (#3, 2-1) with 26-point margin 96-70.
