Newly promoted Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (A1) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Australian ex-international swingman Clint Steindl (200-88kg-89, college: St.Mary's, CA). He was about to sign at Wildcats in Australian NBL league. The last season Steindl played at Leuven Bears in Belgian Euromillions League where in 26 games he recorded 12.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.7apg.
Among other achievements his college team won WCC Tournament in 2010 and 2012.
Steindl was also a member of Australian international program for some years. He played for Australian Senior National Team between 2012 and 2014 and previously for University National Team between 2011 and 2013.
Steindl also represented Australia at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) four years ago.
He has played also professionally for other Australian teams like Australia for Mackay Meteors Townsville Crocodiles Cairns Taipans Australian Institute Sport.
Steindl attended Saint Mary's College of California until 2012 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: A tall guard/forward with hustling mentality and a very good outside shot.

He was tested by Denver Nuggets in the NBA, but was not approved after all. Jeremy Kendle joins Kings - 6 days ago
Sydney Kings (NBL) agreed terms with 29-year old American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-88, college: Bellarmine). He played last summer at South West Metro Pirates in Australian QBL. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 28.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.6apg and 3.4spg. Kendle also played that season for Rams in NBL where in 19 games he was fourth best scorer with remarkable 20.6ppg and averaged 5.3rpg, 5.4apg (top 5) and 1.2spg. Johnson's 32-point game gives him Player of the Week award - 6 days ago
29-year old Daniel Johnson (210-C/F-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for 36ers and receives a Australiabasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. He had the game-high 32 points adding four rebounds and two assists for 36ers in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Taipans (#3, 2-1) with 26-point margin 96-70.
