Regular Season Round 3: Adelaide - Sydney 85-80
Date: January 30, 2021
No shocking result in a game in Findon where Adelaide 36ers (7-4) defeated Kings (2-5) 85-80 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was the former international center Isaac Humphries (216-98, college: Kentucky) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Canadian guard Dejan Vasiljevic (190-97, college: Miami, FL) who recorded 28 points and American forward Jarell Martin (208-94, college: LSU) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kings' coach gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Adelaide 36ers will face again Kings (#7) in Sydney in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
