West Adelaide Bearcats can celebrate finally their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Norwood Flames (2-2) 91-84 on Friday. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Bryan Michaels (190-96, college: Concordia, OR) chipped in 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: SVSU) with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Anthony Green (208-96, college: Northeastern) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Norwood Flames' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. West Adelaide Bearcats maintains seventh position with 1-2 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Norwood Flames dropped to the fifth place with two games lost.
