There was a surprise result when eighteenth ranked Kilsyth Cobras (1-2) won against at home higher ranked Huskies (3-2) 86-76 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Corey Jeffs (203, college: Winona St.) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Adrian Tomada chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jacob Richards (200-1) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard Elijah Pawson (186) added 20 points respectively. Four Huskies players scored in double figures. Kilsyth Cobras left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place in League. Loser Huskies dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Kilsyth Cobras will face Bandits (#18) in Albury in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
