Another exciting game was played in Seaford between seventh ranked NW Tasmania Thunder and 5th ranked Frankston Blues where NW Tasmania Thunder (3-1) beat Frankston Blues (2-2) on the road 86-78. It was a good game for swingman Joe Chilcott (193-96) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. New Zealand guard Mason Bragg (182-93) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center David Andersen (213-80) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Frankston Blues. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. NW Tasmania Thunder moved-up to fourth place in League. Frankston Blues at the other side dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. NW Tasmania Thunder will play against Eltham Wildcats (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Frankston Blues will play against Ballarat Miners (#11) in Wendouree and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
