Regular Season Round 2: NSW Blue - NBA Global 49-90

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of NSW Blue at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were rolled over by NBA Global 90-49. NBA Global dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to NSW Blue's 24. They outrebounded NSW Blue 49-23 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for NBA Global especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. International forward Alexander Toohey (201-4) scored 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Rory Hawke chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four NBA Global players scored in double figures. Guard Evan Kilminster (185-3) responded with 8 points and Angus Ole scored 10 points. NSW Blue's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. NBA Global is looking forward to face SA Blue in the next round and are hoping to win another game. NSW Blue will play against Queensland and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
