Regular Season Round 2: NSW Blue - ACT 86-56

Not a big story in a game when ACT was rolled over on the road by NSW Blue 86-56 on Tuesday. NSW Blue dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to ACT's 26. NSW Blue forced 25 ACT turnovers and outrebounded them 57-35 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Harry Morris who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Ryan Abbott (198-2) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five NSW Blue players scored in double figures. Diing Diing produced 19 points and Mamadou Fall added 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NSW Blue will meet Queensland in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ACT will play against NSW White and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
