The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Tigers as it allowed them to take a leadership position in League. Tigers defeated 7th ranked Flames in Morphett Vale 85-70. They outrebounded Flames 46-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Morgan Yaeger (175-98, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 14 assists. Forward Teige Morrell contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Tigers' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Genna Anderson replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and guard Alex Wilson (174-94) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Flames. Four Flames players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Flames at the other side keep the seventh place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
