Quite impressive performance for American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Point guard Lachlan Barker (179-96) contributed with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Jock Perry (216-97, college: UC Riverside) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized South Sudanese center Deng Acuoth (213-96) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Ballarat Miners. Frankston Blues moved-up to ninth place in League. Loser Ballarat Miners dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Frankston Blues will face higher ranked Bendigo Braves (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ballarat Miners will play against Ringwood Hawks (#10) in Heathmont and hope to win that game.
