Very predictable result when third ranked Bendigo Braves (4-1) rolled over at home 16th ranked Tigers (1-5) 100-62 on Saturday. Bendigo Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers' 30. They outrebounded Tigers 50-35 including a 43-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bendigo Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tigers' players. Quite impressive performance for American forward Ray Turner (206-90, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Brennan Rymer (183, college: Azusa Pacific) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Bendigo Braves players scored in double figures. Keenan Willie replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds and forward Felix Von Hofe (196-93, college: EWU) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Tigers. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Bendigo Braves maintains third position in League with 4-1 record having just five point less than leader Joondalup W. Loser Tigers keep the sixteenth place with five games lost. Bendigo Braves will face Ipswich Force (#4) in Booval in the next round. Tigers will play at home against Dandenong Rangers (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
