Everything could happen in Seaford at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Frankston Blues and 6th ranked Bendigo Braves had identical 5-2 record. This time Frankston Blues used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Bendigo 111-82 on Sunday night. Frankston Blues made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Ray Turner (206-90, college: Texas A&M) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Jake Lloyd added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Bendigo Braves. Five Frankston Blues and four Bendigo Braves players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Frankston Blues (6-2) moved-up to second place in League. Loser Bendigo Braves keep the sixth position with three games lost. Frankston Blues will face Bandits (#15) in Albury in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Bendigo Braves will play at home against Cairns Marlins (#9) and hope to win that game.
