Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Mustangs (1-6) lost to eighth ranked Bruins (3-4) in Maitland 63-71. The best player for the winners was guard Tahlia Tupaea (174-97) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. The former international point guard Alicia Poto (166-78) chipped in 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Karlee Grayson produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Rachel Williams added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Mustangs' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bruins maintains eighth position in League with 3-4 record. Mustangs at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. Bruins' next round opponent will be higher ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#4) in Narrabeen and it may be quite challenging game.
