No shocking result in a game in Mandurah where fourth ranked Redbacks (4-2) won against 7th ranked Magic (2-2) 67-58 on Saturday. Redbacks made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Magic turnovers. Magic was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Makailah Dyer (175, college: N.Dakota) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Maddison Allen (190-93, college: Santa Clara) helped adding 9 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Casey Mihovilovich (173-82) with 16 points and 5 steals and forward Carly Boag (188-95, college: Minot St.) scored 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Magic's coach let to play eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Redbacks moved-up to third place in League. Loser Magic keeps the seventh position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
