There was no surprise in Condell Park where 8th ranked Bankstown Bruins (4-6) were defeated by first ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (8-1) 87-75 on Saturday. Naturalized American guard Indiana Faithfull (193-91, college: West Liberty) fired 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Steven White (182-90, college: Alaska-Anch.) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Forward Jack Lopez (196-94, college: Montana) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and Keanu Reed added 15 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bankstown Bruins' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles maintains first place in League with 8-1 record. Loser Bankstown Bruins dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will face Hills Hornets (#8) in Baulkham Hills in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bankstown Bruins will play at home against Bulls and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
