Undefeated leader Thunder delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Wizards (1-3) 103-55 in Loganholme. Thunder players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Wizards' players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mikaela Ruef (190-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. New Zealand swingman Chevannah Paalvast (180-91, college: Monmouth) contributed with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. Swingman Courtney Woods (183, college: NIU) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Regan McCarty (-97) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Wizards. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Thunder maintains first position in League with 4-0 record. Wizards at the other side dropped to the tenth place with three games lost. Thunder will play against Flames (#3) in Townsville in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Wizards will have a break next round.
