Regular Season Round 15: Warwick S. - Perry Lakes H. 87-77

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Hawks (8-2) in Perth on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Senators (6-2) 87-77. Senators forced 19 Hawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: SVSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 4 assists. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Senators players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Andrew Ferguson (213-98, college: CS Monterey) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Matthew Leary (190-0, college: Knox) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Hawks' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Senators moved-up to fourth place in League. Hawks at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. Senators are looking forward to face higher ranked Lightning (#3) in North Lake in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hawks will play on the road against Cougars in Hamilton Hill and are hoping to win this game.
