Important game to mention about took place in Crows Nest. Fifth ranked Mustangs (7-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 3rd ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (6-3) 89-86 on Saturday evening. Jack Edwards scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Scott McGann (203, college: Salem) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Anatoly Bose responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Patrick Sanders (201-85, college: UC Irvine) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Four Mustangs and five Norths Soul Sports Bears players scored in double figures. Norths Soul Sports Bears' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mustangs moved-up to third place in League. Norths Soul Sports Bears at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
