Not a big story in a game in Brisbane where 10th ranked Roar (1-3) was defeated by leader Thunder (6-0) 96-84 on Saturday. Thunder looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-88, college: Bellarmine) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 assists. Blake Jones (208-2, college: GMU) helped adding 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Kian Dennis (197-1) with 25 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Kobe McDowell-White (183-4) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Thunder and four Roar players scored in double figures. Thunder maintains first place in League with 6-0 record. Loser Roar dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. Thunder will face Brisbane Capitals (#4) at home in the next round. Roar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Brisbane Brisbane Capitals.
