Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Rockets (0-11) lost to sixth ranked Northside Wizards (4-4) in Taigum 94-99 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Northside Wizards looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American guard Kyle Logan (188, college: Manchester) nailed 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard Aiden Krause (193-0, college: UC Irvine) accounted for 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Najeal Young (198-94, college: TxWes) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Josh Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming) added 29 points and 7 assists respectively for Rockets in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Northside Wizards went down to ninth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Rockets still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Northside Wizards will meet at home higher ranked Rip City (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rockets will play against Townsville Heat (#5) and hope to get finally their first victory.
