There was no surprise in Woodville where 6th ranked Bearcats (5-6) were defeated by leader Tigers (11-0) 79-64 on Saturday. Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bearcats' 32. Forward Teige Morrell stepped up and scored 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Jemma Thacker chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Jennie Rintala (188-90, college: S.Dakota St.) with 19 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and guard Jasmin Fejo (177-0) scored 17 points. Four Bearcats players scored in double figures. Bearcats' coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers maintains first place in League with 11-0 record. Loser Bearcats keep the sixth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
