Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Dolphins (1-7) were outscored by fourth ranked Flames (7-2) in Townsville 90-49 on Saturday. Guard Mia Murray (184-88) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Stephanie Reid (168-96, college: Buffalo) supported her with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Flames players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Leichan Williams did not help to save the game for Dolphins. Sarah Heard added 14 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Flames maintains fourth position in League with 7-2 record. Loser Dolphins keep the twelfth place with seven games lost. Flames will meet at home Sunshine CP (#5) in the next round. Dolphins will play against Sunshine CP (#5) and hope to win that game.
