Everything went according to plan in Taigum where eleventh ranked Wizards (4-6) beat bottom-ranked Roar (0-11) 84-66 on Saturday. Wizards forced 19 Roar turnovers. Swingman Courtney Woods (183, college: NIU) fired 29 points for the winners. Point guard Tiana Mangakahia (168-95, college: Syracuse) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Wizards' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Kassandra Donnelly produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and Laura Mckillop added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Wizards and five Roar players scored in double figures. Wizards moved-up to tenth place in League. Loser Roar still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Wizards will meet at home higher ranked Rollers (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Roar will play against Flames (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
