Very expected game in Hamilton Hill where 9th ranked Cougars (7-10) were defeated by second ranked Lightning (15-4) 73-69 on Saturday. Guard Rowan Mackenzie (190-99, college: LCU) fired 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Joshua Davey (198-0, college: LCU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Four Lightning players scored in double figures. Swingman Gavin Field (202-89, college: UWG) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Greek swingman Nic Pozoglou (196-96) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Cougars' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
