The game between third ranked Norwood Flames (10-7) and seventh ranked West Adelaide Bearcats (8-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Norwood Flames were defeated by West Adelaide Bearcats in a tough game in Marden 82-90. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Norwood Flames. West Adelaide Bearcats shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Fabian Johnson contributed with 26 points for the winners. Four West Adelaide Bearcats players scored in double figures. Forward Raymond Harding (198, college: Southeast CC) answered with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: SVSU) added 21 points and 8 assists in the effort for Norwood Flames. Norwood Flames' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. West Adelaide Bearcats moved-up to sixth place, which they share with C.District L. Norwood Flames at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost.
