Date: January 17, 2022
Sixth-ranked Perth Lynx (1-2) gave a tough game to first ranked Boomers (6-2). The visitors from Melbourne managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Boomers made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international center Cayla George (193-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and international center Eziyoda Magbegor (193-99) supported her with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
