Regular Season Round 15: Brisbane - Perth 83-95

Date: March 12, 2022
No shocking result in a game in Brisbane where second ranked Perth Wildcats (13-6) defeated 7th ranked Bullets (7-12) 95-83 on Saturday. Perth Wildcats made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Bryce Cotton (182-1992, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was forward Robert Franks (203-1996, college: WSU) with 21 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Lamar Patterson (196-1991, college: Pittsburgh) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bullets' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Perth Wildcats. They maintain second place with 13-6 record behind leader Melbourne. Loser Bullets keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. Perth Wildcats will meet at home New Zealand Breakers (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bullets will play against Cairns Taipans and hope to secure a win.
