Cougars used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from 79-55 on Sunday night. Cougars outrebounded Warriors 49-35 including 37 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Rosie Fadljevic (183-1993) nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Katie Bluzer accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Deanna Jolliffe (170-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian guard Haille Nickerson (170, college: Memorial) added 10 points respectively for Warriors in the defeat. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. Warriors' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cougars will meet at home Gulls in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Warriors will play against Hume City Broncos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
