The game in Melbourne supposed to be also worth to mention about. Jets played at the court of Vikings. Jets smashed Vikings 105-72. They outrebounded Vikings 45-25 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Mark Berezdecky (197-1993) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Trevon Clayton (198, college: FPU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Five Jets players scored in double figures. Edward Bourke replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Denzel Brito (185-1991, college: Loyola, MD) added 12 points and 5 steals in the effort for Vikings. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jets will play against Camberwell in Melbourne in the next round. Vikings will play at home against Hume City Broncos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
