Not a big story in a game in Broadmeadow where bottom-ranked Hunters (0-1) were defeated by top-ranked Bulls (3-0) 73-62 on Saturday. Bulls forced 22 Hunters turnovers. Strangely Hunters outrebounded Bulls 48-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. Isaac Signal fired 17 points for the winners. Center Johnny Crnogorac (216-1995, college: UTRGV, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bulls players scored in double figures. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized British forward Ryan Beisty (200-1995, college: Regis Univ.) added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bulls keep a position of League leader. Loser Hunters still closes the standings with one game lost. Bulls will meet at home Mustangs (#4) in the next round. Hunters will have a break next round.
