Regular Season Round 19: Adelaide - Brisbane 85-93

Date: April 11, 2022
Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Bullets (10-16) won against 9th ranked Adelaide 36ers (7-17) in Findon 93-85 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized South Sudanese forward Deng Deng (203-1992, college: Baylor) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-1991) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Four Bullets players scored in double figures. Bullets' coach Jamie Duncan used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-1988, college: Pepperdine) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international guard Mitchell McCarron (189-1992, college: MSU Denver) added 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for Adelaide 36ers in the defeat. Bullets maintains seventh place with 10-16 record. Adelaide 36ers lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 17 games lost. Bullets will meet league's leader United in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Adelaide 36ers will play against New Zealand Breakers (#10) in Auckland and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
