This time Magic used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Bullcreek 75-66 on Thursday night. Magic outrebounded Lightning 45-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Carly Boag (188-1991, college: Minot St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Alex Wittinger (185-1997, college: Illinois) helped adding 16 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side American swingman Sara Dickey (177-1995, college: Evansville) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Opal Mader (-1997) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Magic maintains second place in League with 3-0 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Sutherland S. Loser Lightning dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
