The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Warriors' (4-2) road victory over 5th ranked Gulls (3-4) 84-60 on Saturday. Warriors made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Haille Nickerson (170, college: Memorial) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Tarryn Wilkin helped adding 9 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side Lee Burch responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and guard Sammie Simmons (173-1990) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Warriors moved-up to second place in League. Loser Gulls keep the fifth position with four games lost. Warriors will meet Devils (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gulls will play against Cougars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
